About Jim Daneker

Jim Daneker has had a whirlwind 3 decades in the music industry since moving to Nashville in 1995. Much of that was alongside CCM/Pop icon Michael W. Smith, traveling the world and serving as musical director, keyboardist, producer, and technical advisor. Daneker is also an award-winning composer, arranger, and producer of several Billboard #1 albums, as well as having composed his own cinematic instrumental project AD ALTA.

Reflecting on his formative years in the 80s, Daneker acknowledges many pivotal moments that laid the foundation for his career, teaching him how to craft engaging experiences for audiences around the world. With a profound understanding of the era's cultural and musical significance, Daneker recognizes the universal appeal of 80s nostalgia, characterized by optimism, innocence, and pure “fun factor.”

Shaped by the icons of the MTV era – synth-heavy pop radio, blockbuster movies and their epic scores – Daneker inevitably brings those influences to every project he touches. Whether touring the globe playing and directing thousands of shows, producing #1 albums, scoring films, or composing his own music, Daneker is uniquely positioned as the perfect person to conceive and direct Arcade Orchestra toward “must-see” status.
